<p>PURPOSE:To surely set the mounting position of a permanent magnet, where the permanent magnet is set at an air gap of a magnetic circuit to constitute an ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:A primary spool 12 wound with a primary coil 11 and a secondary spool 13 wound with a secondary coil 14 are coaxially set to constitute a coil main body 15, and the coil main body 15 is molded with thermosetting resin in a resin case 16. An opening 19 is provided to the inner circumference of the primary spool 12, and a first and a second magnetic core, 211 and 212, are so set as to form an air gap 22. The gap 22 is set at an angle to the axis of a core, and a step projection is provided to each of the end faces of the magnetic cores 211 and 212 as located at both the ends of the gap 22, and a plate-like permanent magnet 23 is set between the projections.</p> |
