<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic toner excellent in environmental stability of storage stability, electrification property, and fixing property, and excellent in picture image characteristics. CONSTITUTION:In this toner, such a polyester resin is used as the main structural component of the binder resin. This polyester resin is obtd. by condensation of aromatic polyvalent carboxylic acids, alicyclic monoalcohol and polyhydric alcohols consisting of aliphatic polyhydric alcohols and/or alicyclic polyhydric alcohols, and has >=58 deg.C glass transition temp., >=1.3 specific gravity, and 80-150 deg.C softening temp. Thus, the obtd. electrophotographic toner has excellent environmental stability.</p> |
