<p>PURPOSE:To provide a controller of a generator for a vehicle in which a current limit value at the time of operating a torque limiter for limiting a field current to a set value can be accurately obtained. CONSTITUTION:The controller of a generator for a vehicle comprises a latching circuit 20 for outputting an output of a current detector 19 in synchronization with a clock CLK from a triangular wave generator 17 of a PWM (pulse-width- modulation) voltage controller 25 so that a switching frequency of a power transistor 12 for turning field current ON, OFF does not become a PWM frequency or more of a voltage control system. Thus, since drive torque required by a generator 1 can be effectively suppressed to a set value even at the time of a cold temperature, a life of a belt for driving a generator can be improved while obtaining an original output of the generator 1 at the time of a high temperature, squeaking of the belt is suppressed, and stalling of an engine can be prevented.</p> |
