Printed identification plates for incorporation into the surface of fermented food prods., esp. cheeses, contain at least one antifungal and/or antibacterial agent (I) compatible with the food prod. ADVANTAGE - The plates resist incrustation by microorganisms, which has previously prevented the use of machine-readable information systems, e.g. bar codes.
