<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a power consumption by decreasing the basic frequency of an information processor according to a surrounding brightness. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 1 detects a light made incident through a light receiving part 22, and outputs an electric signal corresponding to the surrounding brightness. Then, it is transmitted through an amplifier 2, and compared with a reference level by a comparator 3. A basic frequency from an oscillator 4 is frequency-divided by a frequency devider 5 according to the output of the comparator 3, and outputted as the basic frequency of a CPU. When a display screen 21 is closed, the light is not made incident to the light receiving part 22, and the basic frequency is frequency-divided and reduced. Thus, the power consumption of the CPU can be reduced.</p> |
