PURPOSE:To inform an operator whether table data can be expressed by a graph or not by discriminating whether table data can be read or not to give a warning at the time visual output of table data. CONSTITUTION:Reference format data 8 used to discriminate whether a graph can be read or not is stored in a program memory 20. After range designation, a CPU 10 executes a graph selecting program 3 to accept the information of the indication of a graph form, the size of graph title printing, etc., inputted from an operator. Thereafter, the CPU 10 discriminates whether table data will be properly printed or not by a range discriminating program 4. If all of the designated range cannot be expressed by a graph because of the capability (the number of longitudinal/transverse dots) of a display device 70 or a printer 60 or the design of the graph, it is internally changed to an available maximum outputting range, and the CPU 10 uses a buzzer and/or a display message to inform the operator of the display error by a report program 5. |
