PURPOSE:To improve the decrease in rectangularity of demagnetization curve of a 2/17 by adding a very small quantity of B and Al, and to obtain a highly efficient magnet. CONSTITUTION:This permanent magnet material consists of R (R indicates the combination of Sm and one or two or more kinds of rare earth elements) of 24 to 27wt.%, Cu of 4 to 7wt.%, Fe of 15 to 20wt.%, Zr of 2 to 4wt.%, B of 0.001 to 0.2wt.%, Al of 0.001 to 0.20wt.%, and Co and inevitable impurities. As a result, rectangularity Hk/iHc of the demagnetization curve becomes 0.5 to 0.9 by the Br reflected to the maximum energy product, and a permanent magnet material, having high magnetic characteristics, can be obtained. |
