METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING TEXT TO EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To selectively distribute various texts to external equipments requiring them and to reduce time and labor by selectively transmitting an item instructed by a header part of each text. CONSTITUTION:In a hotel/country inn system in which a computer is connected to plural external equipments 7, a distribution table 30 instructing the validity/ invalidity of transmission of respective texts identified by plural kinds of text codes corresponding to apparatuses codes instructing the sorts of the equipments 7 connected to the system and plural header parts corresponding to respective texts and consisting of flag bits each of which instructs the validity/invalidity of transmission corresponding to plural items of each text are prepared and the item specified by the header part of a text specified in the table 30 is selectively transmitted in each external equipments 7. The set distribution table 30 is stored in a file storage device 3 and a distribution program 4 e.g. distributes and transmits a text sent from a main program 1 such as a check-in program 1a based upon the table 30 stored in the device 3.
