PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient, downsized, easy-to-mount alternator having generating characteristics satisfying requirements of internal-combustion engine for electric hybrid automobile. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of alternators 21, 22 having different generation starting rotational speeds and exhibiting high efficiencies in the vicinity of that rotational speeds are coupled through a rotation transmitting means 23 with an engine 1 and AC power generated therefrom is fed to a rectifier 4 thus providing a power supply for an induction motor 7 and a battery 5 to be driven. |
