PURPOSE:To minimize power consumption in the waiting state of an incoming call at the communication terminal equipment driven by a battery. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with an automatic reception control circuit 20 to detect ring signals sent through a telephone line at the time of call incoming while backing up the power supply voltage at all times. Further, the equipment is provided with power source control circuits 2, 10 and 26 to supply the power source voltage to respective circuits at the time of detecting the ring signals by this automatic reception control circuit 20 and to stop supplying the power source voltage to the respective circuits by detecting the end of communication. |
