<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the roundness of a cleaning roll member fitted and inserted into a bearing member and to obtain a rotary head cleaning roll which comes in contact with a rotating drum and performs smooth rotating action as the rotary head cleaning roll of a recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cleaning roll member 1 made of an elastic body is fitted and inserted into a bearing member 3 with flanges 4 at the top and bottom and the outer peripheral surface of the cleaning roll member 1 is heat- treated and worked with a working device with a hot wire 7 disposed on a circle concentric with the bearing member 3 to attain high roundness of the cleaning roll member 1.</p> |
