PURPOSE:To provide the automatic stringed instrument that automatically provides a characteristic string picking performance in a stringed instrument and can not be realized by a conventional automatic stringed instrument although the constitution is small in size. CONSTITUTION:A series of pieces of string picking information among sequentially generated automatic performance information are read out of a performance information storage part and a sequence data storage part in order and a motor 81 for picking actuator movement is driven in order according to the read pieces of string picking information; and this motor 81 for picking actuator movement drives a picking actuator 92 provided at the position of a tensed string 3, so the string 3 can automatically be picked. |
