PURPOSE:To perform more accurate measurement and display in a device for displaying the residual capacity of a battery used in an uninterruptible power supply. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 4 detects the charging and discharging currents of a battery 2 and outputs a proportional voltage Ei. A function generator 7 outputs a weighting coefficient K based on the discharging characteristic of the battery in response to the absolute value of the output voltage of the current detector 4. A multiplier 9 receives the weighting coefficient K outputted from the function generator 7 or a weighting constant K1 that is set with a setting device 10 and the absolute value of the output voltage of the current detector 4 and obtains the input value by multiplication. At the time of the discharging mode, which is judged with a comparator 6, an analog switch 8 is switched to the side or the weighting coefficient K. At the time of the charging mode, the analog switch 8 is switched to the side of the constant K1. The output voltages of the multiplier 9 undergoes time integration with a voltage- frequency converter 12 and a pulse counter 13, and the result is displayed on a display device 14. |
