PURPOSE:To use a micro-lens array which does not generate uneven illuminance in a projection image, and also, can be manufactured easily, and moreover, can be aligned simply to a liquid crystal panel, in the liquid crystal projector of a system for irradiating the liquid crystal panel in which a micro-lens is opposed and arranged to a liquid crystal cell, with light reflected by a concave reflecting mirror as a focusing reflected light. CONSTITUTION:By arranging a concave lens 3 in a position P where a light beam of the innermost side in a reflected light of a concave reflecting mirror 2 is focused to an optical axis 9 between the concave reflecting mirror 2 and a liquid crystal panel 4, the reflected light becomes a parallel luminous flux, and by arranging a convex lens 6 between the liquid crystal panel 4 and a projecting part 7, light which transmits through the liquid crystal panel 4 is focused and made incident on an entrance pupil of the projecting part 7. According to this constitution, an incident light to the liquid crystal panel 4 becomes a luminous flux of a uniform light quantity, and with regard to a micro-lens array 5, as well, that which forms equally each lens in accordance with a pitch of a liquid crystal cell can be used. |
