<p>PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary apparatus for stripping a sheath from an electric wire which makes a cut on the sheath without cutting the core wire and leaves no unremoved sheath in the cut. CONSTITUTION:The title auxiliary apparatus pinches an electric wire 1 between laminar upper teeth 8 and lower teeth 9, and makes a cut on the wire 1 by heating both teeth and thereby fusing the sheath 5 on the surface of the wire 1. The upper teeth, of a disk shape, is freely rotatable and movable along the linear lower teeth 9. A plurality of recesses 2, each of which can be fit with one electric wire 1, are formed in the upper teeth 8 and/or the lower teeth 9.</p> |
