ADJUSTING MECHANISM OF DISPLAY UNIT

PURPOSE:To improve the usability of equipment by adjusting the height and tilt angle of a display unit to the position where the display unit can be viewed most easily. CONSTITUTION:The display unit 1 can be rotated around a rotary shaft 3 with a brake as to a main body 2 and the tilt angle of the display unit 1 can freely be adjusted. The rotary shaft 3 with the brake is fixed to the display unit 1 by clamping the rotary shaft 3 with the brake between leaf springs 4 and 5 and fixing both the ends with pins 6 and 7. The leaf springs 4 and 5, therefore, serve as guides and the display unit 1 are guided by those guides to freely move up and down in parallel. The display unit 1 is held by a display unit support and coupled by the rotary shaft with the brake and the display unit 1. The display unit 1 is therefore rotated around the rotary shaft with the brake to freely adjust the rotation of the display unit 1.
