PURPOSE:To realize improvement in mass productivity by simultaneously mounting a plurality of electronic components at a predetermined pitch or by altering the pitch. CONSTITUTION:When two electronic components are simultaneously mounted, a shaft 14 is rotated in a forward direction. Both stoppers 8a and 8b are vertically moved up and down through cam 13a, 13b, and electronic components 6a, 6b of stoppers 7a, 7b are also vertically moved up and down. Suction nozzles 5a, 5b are stopped to be vacuum-sucked at a predetermined timing thereby to mount the components on a printed board. When the two components are mounted at an arbitrary pitch, the shaft 14 is rotated reversely. In this case, the one stopper 8b and the nozzle 5b are vertically moved up and down, the nozzle 5b is stopped to be vacuum-sucked at a predetermined timing, and the component can be mounted on the board. Thus, mass productivity can be improved and simultaneously a multikind and small quantity production can be realized thereby to shorten a lead time of the production and to improve operability of a facility. |
