PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute recording operation many times in the case of forming a color original and to reduce running cost by providing this document forming device with a chrominance signal output means for outputting an identifiable code corresponding to a specified color corresponding to optional information in a document. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 is provided with a control means for controlling the formation and edition of document information such as characters/codes 5 and a graphic 6 based upon input information inputted from a keyboard 2, the display of document information by an LCD 3, the recording of document information by a color recording means, and so on. In addition, the control means displays and records color information applied to optional document information and identifiable codes, e.g. color numbers and reference numbers 9, 9a, on the prescribed positions of document information. Since the color of optional document information can be identified on a color-recorded original by the display screen of a display means or a recording means, color distribution, the correction of a color difference between the display screen and recording paper 7, a fine change in color darkness, etc., can be efficiently and accurately executed. |
