PURPOSE:To provide a high performance battery by forming a high-performance electrode by using an ion conductive high polymer compound, an electrochemical active substance and electron conductive substance, and selectively using a group-III element in a periodic table in addition, and irradiating it with active beams for forming an electrode and an electrolyte layer. CONSTITUTION:An ion conductive high polymer compound comprising a polyether cross-linked high polymer compound in which metal salt is dissolved is a cross-linked polymer by ether linkage, and dissolved metal ions migrate easily. A specified quantity of an ion compound such as LiClO4, (CH3)4NBR4, is dissolved in it. In an electrolyte layer 3, the ion conductive high polymer compound is formed into a single sheet shape, for example, under active beam irradiation, to be disposed between a composite positive electrode A (2) and a composite negative electrode B1 or a negative electrode B2. In addition, Pd is included in the positive electrode A (2) and the composite negative electrode B1, and active substance MnO2, conductive agent of acetylene black is used for the positive electrode A (2). Metal Li is held by a positive electrode collector 1, and a negative electrode collector 5, and it is sealed with sealing agent 6. With this constitution, a high-performance and a high-energy density sheet-like battery can be provided. |
