PURPOSE:To provide an outdoor terminal device for a traffic control having a method for mounting AC/DC power source units in which a commercial power source and a battery power source can be input and which has the steps of detecting, when a battery is connected, interruption of the commercial power source if it occurs, switching it to a battery drive without instantaneous interruption and easily replacing AC/DC power source. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor terminal device for a traffic control comprises a main power source side DC input unit 2 for inputting a DC power obtained from AC/DC power source 1 with a commercial power source as a main power source, and an auxiliary power source side DC input unit 3 for inputting directly a DC power source such as a battery. The terminal device further comprises a power source supply switching circuit 7 which can operate even in the case of any input power source, detect an interruption of the main power source without stopping an operation at the time of the interruption of the DC power source of the main power source side and automatically switch to power from the unit 3 without instantaneous interruption to supply power to a DC/DC converter 5. |
