PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal panel of high luminance and high con stant display. CONSTITUTION:A high molecular dispersion liquid crystal is inserted and held between a counter electrode 16 and a picture element electrode 19. By a TFT 22, a voltage is applied to the picture element electrode 19, a liquid crystal on the picture element electrode 19 is scattered or allowed to transmit through, and an image is displayed. On a counter electrode substrate 13, a substrate 11 on which a micro-lens 14 corresponding to a picture element is formed is arranged. On the micro-lens substrate 11, a light shielding film for shielding an incident light to the TFT is formed. The micro-lens substrate 11 and the counter electrode substrate 13 are stuck with an ultraviolet ray curing resin. Light which is made incident on the micro-lens substrate is condensed by the micro-lens 14, and made incident on a liquid crystal layer 20. Accordingly, since a polarizing plate is not used for modulation of light, and also, the micro- lens is formed, the light utilization efficiency is high, and a high luminance display can be executed. |
