<p>PURPOSE:To attain the input of the desired instructing information according to the eyeball state of a user regardless of the degree of expertness of the user by grasping the visual information on a screen viewed by the user and then inputting the instructing information. CONSTITUTION:The visual line vector detecting parts 5 are provided for each eyeball. Then the invisible light beams like the infrared rays, etc., or the ultrasonic waves are radiated on the front surface of the eyeball by a transmitting part in a beam shape and the reflected beams or sounds or the eyeball front surface are received to decide the direction. An eye position calculating part 7 calculates the eye position by means of both eye visual line vector information 8 received from the part 5 together with the sensor position/direction information 9 received from a sensor position/ direction detecting part 6. In the calculations, the prescribed correction value is added to the space position information in the information 9 and the space position of each eyeball is obtained. Meanwhile the eye position is calculated in a space based on the information 8 as well as the direction vector included in the information 9. Then the eye position information 3 thus obtained is sent to an information processor 4 where the information 3 is used as the instructing selection information.</p> |
