PURPOSE: To provide an easy-to-fabricate, economical terminal through an easy soldering operation by forming a connecting part and a cable mounting part, respectively, from one end and the other end which are connected together, and providing the contact arms or the like of a cantilevered beam integrally with the connecting part. CONSTITUTION: A flat plate of a predetermined shape which is plated on its inner surface as required is curved to form a female electric terminal having one end serving as a cylindrical contact part 12 and the other end as the cylindrical mounting part 14 of a cable 15, which are connected together at a neck part 20. The part 12 forms a split socket 16, has an integrally formed flange 30 or the like therein, is provided with a contact finger which the pair of long contact arms 26 of a cantilevered beam coupled to the socket 16 at a middle enlarged part 21 form, and is joined to a pin terminal. This constitution leads to the female electric terminal that can be fabricated easily at good profitability by an easy soldering operation. |
