The receptacle (1) is mounted by a support (3), clamping (7,8) on part of the cycle frame (4). A sole plate (30), fixed to the receptacle, locates on the support with correspondingly shaped couplings (22,23). A lock (41) fastens the sole plate to the support. The clamp may have two pieces at either side of the frame, shaped to match and joined by screws (17). These screws may be retained in the receptacle sole plate. Shaped clamps may be held between the support pieces and the frame rear forks, enabling sliding adjustment of position. ADVANTAGE - Improved mounting, requiring no modifications to the cycle frame. Easily removed receptacle, which may alternatively be a bottle or lamp.
