Yarn splicer for e.g. processing wet linen - has adjustable position for airjets which prepare yarn

A yarn splicer to piece yarn ends, has a crosswise groove to accept the two yarn ends. There is a splicer head and at each side means are provided to prepare the end. There are air-jets at each side of the splicer or the cover, or around these parts. The splicer (1) has a body (2) fixed to the frame on which it works. There are airjets (3,4,5) and valves to control the air pressure from a source (8). ADVANTAGE - The splicer can accept difficult yarns, such as linen which is processed when wet.
