摘要 The device includes a disc (17) with markings (10) in the form of a series of code elements which, reading in the direction of relative motion, form a non-regular bit pattern which is detected (11) and converted into binary signals. A clock signal (T) derived from the binary signal (w) is used to extract the individual code elements of the binary signal. The code element sequence can be arranged as a pseudo random series. An additional code element of value 0 is introduced into the longest bit combination of value 0 occurring in the pseudo random series. USE/ADVANTAGE - For determining relative position of two mutually relatively movable objects, e.g. for motor rotor position encoder. High accuracy and simple construction. Additional clock markings are not required.
