Waste water cleaning assembly - has insert in concrete container to separate grease and oil from vehicle washing station waste water

The assembly to clean waste water, has an inlet opening into an insert (3) in a concrete container (1). The insert (3) is covered by an angled plate (5), with a rising tube (6) through it. An overflow (14) opens at the highest point of the cover plate (5), leading to an oil collection chamber (13) over the cover plate. The insert (3) has a tapering lower section, as a truncated cone (4), extending to the base, contg. a lower immersion pump (11) with a sludge channel (12) leading to an external sludge water removal container. The inlet is a pipe bent downwards, opening into a T-piece below the cover plate (5), aligned parallel to the circumference of the insert (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is for cleaning waste water contg. grease and oil, esp. from vehicle washing stations. The assembly is simple, and accepts large flows of waste water. It is easily operated and installed and can be extended at low cost for further sedimentation and filtering.
