Electronic prevention of calcareous deposits in water systems - by applying pulses of current between electrodes, independent of water flow rate and conductivity.

An electronic device for preventing calcareous deposits in water pipes has two electrodes (3,4) between which the water flows. These electrodes are provided with flow guide vanes (8) and are connected to a control system (7). The control system is provided with a frequency wobbulator and that current and flow measurements are used to keep the electrode current constant in spite of changing water flow rate and degree of hardness. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for preventing calcareous deposits which disrupt the operation of hot and cold water systems, boiler systems, heaters, cooling towers, etc.. The control system produces current pulses which are independent of water flow rate and conductivity, and the prevention of deposits is therefore more effective and more reliable.
