The device is used to decant fluid from a bottle. It has a pistol grip (13) and a trigger (14) operating a valve (10) which controls admission of compressed air (7). which is piped to the device through a flexible hose (4). The device has a long curved spout (20) which extends deep into the bottle (1) to be emptied. It passes through a plug unit (18) which forms an airtight seal in the neck of the bottle and is concentrically surrounded by a continuation of the air line (7). The fluid flows up the central channel (8) impelled by the air pressure and passes through a ball valve to a flexible output line.
