The seat (10) with the front (14) and L-shaped back support (16) forms a parallel linkage. The seat is formed of two intersecting rods (Ad,Be). The top of the front support is linked to the front end of the one link (10a), and is linked to the front end of the other rod (10B) some way from its top end. The back support near its top end is linked to the back end of the other rod (10B) and to the back end of the one rod (10A) some way from its top end. The back of the one rod (10A) has a stop-pin (22) which is stopped in a J-shaped part (24) of the back of the other rod (10B). ADVANTAGE - Can be used in a sitting or reclining position.
