A method for welding of foil pieces for transparency walls, partic. plastic foil pieces with coating, the edges of which overlap is new. After the edges of the edge strips are laid on top of one another with inclined edges the adjoining edges are welded together. Welding is carried out when the adjoining inclined cut edges (1a,2a) and the foil piece surfaces are located flushly with one another. High frequency welding is used. The inclined cut surfaces run at an acute angle of less than 45 deg. to one of the two foil piece surfaces (1c,2c or 1d,2d). USE/ADVANTAGE - To weld together foil pieces for transparency walls the welding process is such that the transitions between the individual foil pieces are practically invisible.
