The holder comprises support beam(s) on which the spray pipes are supported and fixed. (a) The beam (1) accommodates a longitudinally adjustable and fixable slide (3) in which a support plate (8) may move in the longitudinal direction of the spray pipe (10); and (b) the support plate (8) and the spray pipe (10) have, respectively, a socket (9) and a rib (11) which engage and which are joined by a hardenable cast filling in the socket (9). Pref. the filling comprises a synthetic resin. ADVANTAGE - The design allows rapid and unstressed alignment, support and fixing of the spray pipes and may accommodate spray pipe length changes due to the gas temp.
