<p>The invention relates to a tracked carrying vehicle with low floor (under slung) and narrow track (gauge) for agricultural work on crops grown in rows, particularly on rows of vine plants. The mechanical energy provided by the main engine (50) is transmitted to each of the caterpillar tracks (10) via a clutch, the shaft of an electric motor, and a variable-speed transmission. The chassis of the vehicle is surmounted by a removable platform (18), extended, at at least one of its ends, by a device for negotiating slopes, consisting of a wheel (19), the said platform (18) supports, at the front, the driving station and the accumulator battery and, at the rear, a device (20) for coupling up a semitrailer (30).
