<p>A double-effect distribution sequential valve shaft (2) for use within a cylinder head cover (5) of internal combustion engines or other valve-type distribution systems, consisting of a rotating or partially rotating valve shaft (2) with erforations or openings (22) from side to side in the vertical plane and a perforated of holed jacket (1). An opening in the valve shaft will communicate through a hole in the jacket (20) with a hole in the cylinder head cover (24), twice at every turn of the valve shaft. As a result, one complete turn of the valve shaft is equivalent to four turns of the crankshaft, or two turns of the camshaft. The sequential valve shaft has good heat-dissipation properties. In addition, it replaces conventional valve mechanisms which consume a sizeable portion of the energy developed by the engine. <IMAGE></p> |
