An aircraft passenger seat is moved to a reclined position by moving the seat bottom part longitudinally forwardly whilst avoiding backwards movement of the top of the backrest. To provide for such movement, the so that longitudinal movement forwards of the seat bottom part relative to the frame is possible, but movement of the top of the backrest relative to the frame is minimal. |
