PURPOSE:To attain cost reduction by press-forming spline teeth to be engaged with a clutch plate and pulser teeth cooperating with a rotating speed detecting pulser at the peripheral wall part of a sheet metal made drum body formed into cup shape by drawing. CONSTITUTION:When an upper mold 11 is lowered to press a cam slider 13 radially inward by a driven cam 15, the general part of the peripheral wall part of a sheet metal made drum body 1 formed into cup shape by drawing is pushed into a first tooth space 12a by a first tooth punch 13a so as to form a spline tooth 3 by pressing. At the same time, the first stage contracted diameter part of the peripheral wall part of the drum body 1 is pushed into a second tooth space 12b by a second tooth punch 13b to form a pulser tooth 4 by pressing. With the tooth number of pulser teeth 4 set integer times as many as that of spline teeth 3, the second tooth punches 13b can be all made into the same shape so as to be advantagenous.
