PURPOSE:To provide a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet low in core loss and to provide its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:(1) The grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet contains <=0.01% C, 1.5 to 4.0% Si, 1.0 to 6.0% Mn, <=0.01% S, 0.003 to 0.030% Al, <=0.010% N and 0.01 to 0.20% Sb, where Si (%)-0.5XMn (%) <=2.0, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. (2) The slab having the compsn. in (1) in which the content of N is regulated to 0.001 to 0.010% is treated by the following stages: the stage of executing hot rolling, the stage of subjecting it to annealing as hot-rolled or after hot rolling and executing cold rolling one time, or two or more times including a process annealing, the stage of generating primary recrystallization by continuous annealing, the stage of holding it in the temp. range of 825 to 925 deg.C for 7 to 100hr and generating secondary recrystallization and the subsequent finishing annealing stage of holding it in the temp. range of 925 to 1050 deg.C for 4 to 100hr to purify it. |
