MULTIPLE CAPSULIZED SWEETENING AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a delivery system which constitutes an inner coating of a core containing a strong sweetener such as a natural sweetener and an outer coating of a hydrophilic polymer and is useful for a chewing gum and the like and which shows excellent preceding sweetness, holding property of sweet ness and protection of active component. CONSTITUTION: A natural or artificial strong sweetener such as amino acid-based sweetener, dipeptide sweetener, saccharin and acesulfam salt by 1 to 50 wt.% is uniformly dispersed in a mixture liquid of polyvinyl acetate having 2000 to 14000 mol.wt. and an emulsifier such as lecithin and glyceride. The obtd. liquid is cooled to the ambient temp. to produce cores as the inner coating. The obtd. core is coated with an outer coating of a hydrophilic polymer such as gum, gum arabic and polyvinylpyrrolidone into which the sweetener above described is incorporated by 10 to 25 wt.%. Thus, the delivery system of the purpose is obtd. The outer coating is applied by 5 to 50% of the amt. of the inner coating.
