PURPOSE:To suck a sheet by a fan without lowering sheet conveying performance or damaging the sheet. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with a fan 108 disposed in a sheet carrier path so as to suck a sheet in conveyance, a sheet detecting sensor S2 disposed downstream of the sheet carrier path in relation to the fan 108 so as to detect the conveyance of the sheet, and a CPU 201 for controlling the on/off state of the fan 108 on the basis of the detection signal of the sheet detecting sensor S2. |
