PURPOSE:To provide an air filter pressure loss measuring method that is able to accurately know the change or cleaning timing of an air filter without removing it from an airconditioner and a measuring instrument therefor. CONSTITUTION:This air filter pressure loss measuring method is featured that a fine tubule 3 being communicated with an opening part 4 on one side of a differential pressure gauge 1 is pierced through an air filter 12, and a pressure differential in front and in the rear of the air filter 12 is measured, whereby a pressure loss due to the air filter 12 is measured. Outside air pressure PA is detected out of an opening part 5 of the differential pressure gauge 10 and pressure PB in the air conditioner B out of a tip of the fine tubule 3, respectively, and the differential pressure P is displayed on an indicator of the gauge 1. This differential pressure P is made to correspond to a degree of clogging in the filter 12, and thus the change or cleaning timing of the air filter 12 is knowable in this way. |
