PURPOSE: To individualize shaking members for preventing mutual side face abrasion without providing one groove by directly frictionizing bosses of rocking members on a shaft directly having a smooth wall. CONSTITUTION: This opening formation device is composed of corresponding number of operating assemblies made to parallel mutually for driving a heald frame to be connected and every of the operating assemblies are formed with a row of rocking member 2 fitted on a common shaft in a line and mutually separated for preventing mutual friction of side faces. In the device, the rocking members 2 are mutually separated with an annular spacing member 5 engaged on a supporting shaft between the rocking members and the annular spacing member 5 has projecting bosses 7 to be brought into contact with the annular spacing member adjacent to at least one of its side face, then a space sufficient for an assembly of the rocking member is provided between two spacing members.
