<p>PURPOSE: To provide a flexible pad, which increases unifying strength of an adherence of a bracket and a pad, and also makes the bracket be easily released from a tooth flank during orthodontic treatment. CONSTITUTION: This pad 15 has flexibility, a side to fit in with a bracket 16, a side to fit in with teeth and a hole 32 to expose a part of the bracket. This hole 32 makes adhesive material on the face of the teeth flow into the hole and contact to the bracket 16 to surely adhere the bracket 16 and the pad 15 to the teeth. On the other hand, the pad 15 is easy to be buckled or distorted when tightened by a pair of pliers, so that the adhesion between the bracket and the pad or the pad and the teeth is broken.</p> |
