PURPOSE:To enable the mass-production of an epitope of a principal mite allergen protein coded with a DNA by expressing and producing the epitope and to use the epitope for the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of various allergic diseases. CONSTITUTION:The objective peptide contains an amino acid sequence existing in the principal allergen of Dermatophagoides farinae DerfII and bondable with human anti-DerfII IgE antibody, e.g. the amino acid sequence of formula I and formula II. The present invention also relates to a DNA containing a specific base sequence and coding the above amino acid sequence, a replication vector, a plasmid, a host cell, a process for producing a protein containing the peptide by using the DNA, a process for preventing allergic diseases by using the peptide, an agent for the treatment of allergic diseases and a clinical examination agent for allergic diseases. |
