PURPOSE:To obtain a tableted detergent composition which rapidly dissolves in water even when neither a foaming agent for a disintegrating agent is used and does not cause mold deposit in the course of the production by mixing an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant and potassium carbonate in specified proportions. CONSTITUTION:The composition contains 1-50wt.% anionic surfactant (A), 0.1-4wt.% nonionic surfactant (B), and 10-70wt.% potassium carbonate (C). The weight ratio of component B to component A is at most 0.5:1 and the weight ratio of component B to component C is at most 0.25:1. In addition to the components A, B and C, various additives usually used in detergent compositions can be incorporated into the composition. This composition can easily be formed into a tablet by the usual tableting method. |
