PURPOSE:To prevent a valve element from sticking to a protection member by constituting an air valve of the valve element covering an opening via a viscous sealant and the protection member covering the valve element, and unflattening the inner surface of the protection member, the air valve eliminating pressurization and decompression inside a container such as an ink tank of an inkjet printer. CONSTITUTION:A circular opening 2 is provided through a support 1 which is made by using part of a container, and circular thin films 3, 5 are concentrically provided thereover. The thin film 3 has a small-diameter opening 4 formed at the center thereof and the thin films 5, 3 are stuck together to cover the opening 4 and then the thin films are enclosed in the opening 2 of the support 1. The support 1 and the thin films 3, 5 are stuck to one another via a viscous sealant such as silicon oil and a protection member 8 is provided having a plurality of ridges formed on the inner surface thereof to cover the thin film 3. When the internal pressure of the container is raised relative to the external pressure, the thin films 3, 5 are pushed up toward the outside of the container and the thin film 3 releases part of the viscous sealant between it and the support 1 and forms a narrow passage, thereby slowing the buildup of the internal pressure. |
