PURPOSE:To correspond to various kinds of extrusion performance and eliminate the necessity of replacement of the whole of a screw at the time of wearing by selecting the shape, number, manner of arrangement and the like of flight and inserting the proper number of elements with flights on a shaft provided with a resin feeding flight on its one end. CONSTITUTION:The proper number of elements 6 provided with flights 4 of proper shape on the outer periphery and with given key channels 2 on the inner peripheries are inserted into a shaft 3 provided with flights 1 for feeding resin at one end and with outer key channels 2 along the longitudinal direction in the proper order of arrangement. In that case, the elements 6 are fitted removably on the shaft 3 by a key 8. Also the shape of flights 4 of the elements 6, the number of elements 6, the end of arrangement and the like are selected properly in a manner of being fit for the kind of resin, degree of kneading and the required extrusion performances such as the extrusion quantity and others. |
