PURPOSE:To make erase possible in a short heating time and to prevent the shape of a card from softening and deforming by providing a heating means for heating a display medium consisting of a reversible heat-sensitive recording material from both the surface side and the rear face side. CONSTITUTION:In a heating apparatus, a rubber sheet 14 is to make surely to bringing hot plates 11' and 11'' into contact with a card 1. Dimensions of the upper hot plate 11' and the lower hot plate 11'' are not ruled and whether either one is moved to bring it into contact with the card 1 is not ruled. The card 1 which is a display medium consisting of a reversible heat-sensitive recording material wherein write and erase of an information can be repeated by heating, is heated by means of a hot plate. In this case, the temp. of the hot plate 11' with which the surface of the card 1 is brought into contact is made higher than the temp. of the hot plate 11'' with which the rear face of the card 1 is brought into contact. Shortening of heating time can be more effectively performed thereby and softening and deformation of the card can be more surely avoided. In addition, only an arbitrary region of the card can be erased. |
