摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the traveling stability of a vehicle by prohibiting the switching of the torque assist state increasing the generated torque of an engine when adjusting the generated torque of the engine for the traction control so that the slip value of a driving wheel becomes the objective. CONSTITUTION:An engine control unit 81 controls three-way valves 75, 76 respectively based on various detection signals from various sensors 78-80 detecting the operation state of an engine 2. The negative pressure of a vacuum chamber 72 is guided into actuators 68, 69, and intake selector valves VA, VB are opened or closed respectively. The length of the intake path including the intake pipes 61a, 61b of the engine 2 is changed, and the torque assist state increasing the generated torque of the engine 2 is switched. The switching of the torque assist state is prohibited during the traction control. The vehicle control taken with a serious view of the traveling stability is attained during the traction control.</p>
