PURPOSE: To provide an imaging technique to prevent the deterioration of image resolution in a computed tomography. CONSTITUTION: The radiation from an X-ray source 13 is shifted between two foci for making first and second projection data. While a projection of the imaging objective is being picked up, X-ray is radiated from the first focus of the X-ray source 13. Then, the second focus radiates X-ray and a gantry 12 is rotated half a pitch of a detector 18 so that another one projection image is to be picked up. The X-ray is radiated from the two foci alternatively and the gantry 12 is pushed forward for an equal amount during intervals of each picking up to obtain additional images. Data samples of the projections from the first and second foci are given interleave.
