PURPOSE:To make a sheet skin adhere to a cushion pad without heating or melting it by interposing a hot melt adhesive having a metal material generating heat by an induction heating to melt the hot melt adhesive with the heating of the metal material by an electromagnetic induction. CONSTITUTION:A hot melt adhesive 7 is placed on a cushion pad 6a, further covered with a sheet skin 5 and a high frequency transmitter 3 is operated to generate an electric field from an electromagnetic induction coil 3a, which causes a metal material 8 providing for the hot melt adhesive to generate heat. At this point, an upper die 2 is lowered to press the sheet skin 5 from the side thereof 5 so much as to keep it in place. As the hot melt adhesive 7 melts, the operation of the high frequency transmitter 3 is stopped and the upper die 2 is driven down to press the sheet skin 5 against the cushion pad 6. Thus, the sheet skin 5 is made to adhere to the cushion pad 6 securely with the hot melt adhesive 7 melted. |
